Rare cardiac toxicity, cholestatic hepatitis.
Blood/Serum: ¯ platelets. Rare ­ SGPT, ­ alk phos.
Monitor: Possibly hepatic func.

Oral/GI: Stomatitis, N/V, abdominal pain, diarrhea.
S/Cond: Limit alcohol. Not with lactation.
Pregnancy: Category C.
Other: PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY, chills/fever, headache, weakness, muscle pain, dementia, insomnia, rash, pancreatitis (can be fatal).
Blood/Serum: ­ SGOT, ­ SGPT, ­ alk phos, ­ bil, ­ amylase, ­ lipase, anemia, ¯ platelets, ¯ neutrophils.
Monitor: Hepatic func, amylase, lipase.
